FURNITURE
Campus Management, Inc. offers unfurnished, partially furnished and furnished apartments and houses. The owners of each property have decided to what level they want to provide furniture in their units. Generally, with regard to furniture, how we offer a unit doesn't change from year to year. Here are the definitions of each furniture status:
UNFURNISHED means that no furniture whatsoever is provided.
PARTIALLY FURNISHED means that CMI Provides only a pre-scripted amount of common area furniture is provided in each unit. This furniture stays in the unit no matter what. It is part of the apartment's inventory. The tenant may not elect to have it removed and agrees not to remove it from the unit under any circumstances. NO BEDROOM FURNITURE IS PROVIDED BY CMI.
FURNISHED means that CMI Provides only a pre-scripted amount of common area furniture is provided in each unit. Generally this common area furniture is living room and dining area furniture. This furniture stays in the unit no matter what. It is part of the apartment's inventory. The tenant may not elect to have it removed and agrees not to remove it from the unit under any circumstances. CMI provides bedroom furniture per the wishes of the resident up to a maximum of one bed, one desk and one dresser per lessee. No bedroom furniture can be provided in excess of those having signed the lease. Residents must submit a CMI floor plan requesting furniture and indicating its placement. FAILURE TO SUBMIT THIS DOCUMENT WILL RESULT IN ALL BEDROOM FURNITURE BEING REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY JUST PRIOR TO YOUR MOVE-IN. IN OTHER WORDS, "NO BEDROOM FURNITURE" IS THE DEFAULT ARRANGEMENT AND YOU MUST ACT TO ARRANGE FURNITURE. FAILURE TO ACT COULD MEAN THAT YOU HAVE NO BED TO SLEEP ON THE FIRST NIGHT IN YOUR NEW HOUSE OF APARTMENT. NOTE: Each individual can elect to have less than 1 Bed, 1 Desk and 1 Dresser. For example a person could bring their bed from home but request that CMI provide them a dresser but not a desk.
